The Foodservice Cluster of Catalonia is a cluster organization that is intended to promote and strengthen the competitiveness of the foodservice segment. The Foodservice Cluster promotes initiatives aimed at driving the foodservice sector of Catalonia and stimulating and exploiting the synergies between the members of the value chain in order to drive the development of transforming projects.

At the Foodservice Cluster, we continue to promote initiatives that combine technology, sustainability, and efficiency. We are currently working on a strategic project focused on reducing water consumption through the application of innovative technologies such as machine learning and digital environment simulation.

From the Foodservice Cluster, we continue to move forward with Valorafood 2.0, an initiative aimed at transforming by-products from the tuna and cod filleting industry into high value-added products. This is achieved through the application of innovative technologies that help reduce food waste and enhance the revalorization of these resources.

At Clúster Foodservice, we continue to champion technological innovation through the Norman Project, an initiative aimed at optimizing the process of transforming wheat into flour, enhancing the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of milling operations.

From the Foodservice Cluster, we continue to support sustainability and innovation in the sector. We are currently working on Agrival, the strategic project aimed at developing optimal circuits for waste management and streamlining processes across the food chain, while providing tools to calculate the environmental footprint for each process.

At the end of March, the Foodservice Cluster led an International Mission to Denmark and Sweden, accompanied by 15 companies from its ecosystem: BonArea, Carns Romeu, Alimmenta, Gau Càtering, Assolim, Cafès Cornellà, Frit Ravich, Barry Callebaut, Fundació Alícia, Ametller Origen, Ecoveritas, Puratos, Maser Grup, and Central Borne, with the support and presence of ACCIÓ.
This three-day mission allowed participants to gain firsthand insight into the latest trends in innovation, sustainability, and technology in the Danish food sector, establishing valuable international connections that will pave the way for a more sustainable and innovative future.

The FoodService Cluster successfully held the 10th Strategic Immersion, establishing itself as the benchmark event for professionals and companies in the sector. Over the course of two days, more than 70 attendees gathered at the H10 Imperial Tarraco in Tarragona to analyze trends, share knowledge, and design growth strategies in a constantly evolving market.
