HealthFoodlab, restoration spaces transformed into integral welfare centers

Girona, September 27, 2024 - The HealthFoodlab project lays the foundations for a revolution in the restaurant sector, transforming food spaces into authentic comprehensive well-being centers. This initiative, developed by Ampit, Champagnat Foundation, Serhs Food, Nakide and the Foodservice Cluster, with the support of the ACCIÓ company competitiveness agency, was born with the vocation of becoming a benchmark at the sectoral level.

HealthFoodlab seeks to transform school spaces, such as dining rooms and canteen, in environments that promote healthy eating and educate in habits that promote students' physical and mental health. In addition, the project aims to promote an innovative business model based on health, integrating the design of the space with a healthy gastronomic offer and creating a new brand, S'Aula, which incorporates the values of the project.

S’Aula is a new dining concept.

It is presented as a space where health and sustainability are the fundamental pillars. This space will offer a unique experience that links eating habits to physical and mental well -being, not only for students, but also for the community. In addition, it is classified as a Living Lab, a space where you can test and implement innovations in the field of restaurants.

Social impact and commitment to the community

HealthFoodlab seeks to have a positive impact on the community of Girona, improving the quality of life of its users and extending its benefits to the neighborhood. The project also stands out for its social commitment, as it is expected that future benefits will be used for the training and employment of people in vulnerable situations within the catering sector. In addition, healthy eating will be offered to take away, so that users can maintain a balanced diet in their environment.

HealthFoodlab and sinks as a response to the increasing demand for healthier and sustainable diet, offering a model that opens new business opportunities and promotes a positive change in communities.
