12 companies meet at the Flour, Bread and Sweets Innovation Workshop to draw objectives and set synergies

Last week we carried out the first Flour, Bread and Sweets Innovation Workshop, where 12 associated companies gathered with the aim of learning about market trends, draw the needs of the subsectors and outlining synergies and collaborative projects.

Cereal, the Innovation center of Europastry, hosted the event, which was divided into two main parts. The workshop, which started with an exposition on the main trends of the Flour, Bread and Sweets market by Marta Cortés, Marketing Manager at Europastry. Afterwards, participant companies explained in which main innovations they are working on and we drew the main challenges, solutions and potential collaborative projects to work on together. The second part of the event was the guided tour through Cereal, where we could learn how the innovation process works and which steps they follow before a product gets industrialized.

The event concluded with a very instructive Bread Tasting by Jordi Caballero, R+D technical director at Europastry together with a final networking space.
