The Foodservice Cluster and the Packaging attended as guests from the LISPA and the LITMEA Food Cluster of Vilnius (Lithuania) to a forum of 100 companies to discuss the main trends in the digital consumer and e-commerce.

On June 12 and 13, within the framework of an international day, the two clusters attended the “Packaging innovation for the Food Industry” to explain the study of the digital consumer carried out with the IPSOS consultant and that the Cluster Foodservice partners can Enjoy HERE with a total of 800 surveys, 20 interviews in an On Line community for 1 day and 5 experts in the sector and an international desk research. The two-day session had other leading international companies that provided their vision of sustainability, packaging design, informative transparency, traceability and the main innovations in packaging to be more competitive in an increasingly demanding market in this area
The Foodservice Cluster took advantage of meetings with different international food companies within its strategy of international approach to find partners with which to form consortiums to initiate projects subsidized by the European Union that help and drag Cluster companies to Be more competitive thanks to these international alliances. The strategy also contemplates future visits to other advanced ecosystems in food safety, sustainability, digitalisation and international commercial training, such as Malmö, Austria, Latvia and Holland, among others.
