
During the last month of March, the creation of the Operative Group was approved with the support of the Agriculture Department of the Catalonia Generalitat between the Foodservices clusters and the Catalan Water Partnership. The operational group ” Use and efficent management of water in food processing” aims to work throughout 2018 between the two clusters to promote innovation and I+D projects, as well as the validation of existing technologies to achieve reductions in the consumption and water costs in the food sector. We will work with five representative cases of Foodservices to evaluate the best solutions and most appropriate technologies for the best management of the productive plants. This operational group is a great oppportunity for both clusters to intensify their collaboration and is an activity within the framework of the interlusters promoted by the CWP in its Strategic Plan with intensive sectors in water use.
