Coinciding with the celebration of the monthly meeting of the board of directors of the foodservice cluster, the Cluster internationalization strategy workshop was held at the AudensFoods facilities in Parets del Valles. Aside from AudensFoods, he attended Tupinamba, Carnes Romeo, Gastronomic Forum, Innova Projects, AN Grup and IRTA, as members of the board of directors, Alejandro Utrera, as cluster manager of the Foodservice cluster and Encarni Avilés, of ACCIÓ.
The internationalization strategy workshop, facilitated by Marc Sansó, project manager for the dynamization of ACCIÓ clusters, is a joint working session whose objectives are:
- Raise awareness of the importance of developing a specific internationalization strategy for each cluster.
- Propose guidelines for the creation of an internationalization plan that goes beyond a set of specific actions, to various time horizons and relating it to the strategic objectives of the cluster
- Help to develop a work methodology that allows the cluster manager to identify and involve the key agents of the cluster in the creation of said plan
Make known the different actions included in a diversified portfolio of internationalization services, aimed at both the cluster organization and its members.
During the session, which lasted two hours, attendees began to identify the strategic objectives of the cluster organization in relation to the internationalization process, building a first proposal for segmentation of the cluster value chain that could be converted into a future individualized plan . The next steps, they concluded, go through a follow-up of the work that entails the creation of a specific work group.
