The Foodservice Cluster has facilitated a new B2B co-innovation meeting between two of our partners to study ways of collaboration and synergies of mutual benefit. In this case, the meeting was between SERHS Food y GB Foods.
The meeting arises from the desire of GB Foods to enter the world of catering for school communities, and the need of SERHS Food to adapt to the new regulations of the Public Health Agency of Catalonia that increases the number of dishes with vegetable protein served in schools.
“This challenge will help us to introduce dishes in our schools, to promote the consumption of legumes and try to do it in a sustainable way and giving variety, which is not always eating the same legume in the same way” says Lourdes Català, head of the Department of Dietetics of SERHS Food.
“I am convinced that when we work together several companies we unify needs, we understand each other, and above all, we understand the client. It is very enriching to have these meetings and to be able to develop joint proposals because we have a great knowledge of the industrial part and I believe that we can be a good solution for the sector and thus support infant nutrition” adds Ricardo Clavel, marketing manager Foodservice of GB Foods.
