The CLÚSTER 4.0 advisory service aims to promote a portfolio of projects incorporating Industry 4.0 technologies adjusted to the needs and particularities of the Sector that promote synergies between companies in the value and potential chain and strengthen the ecosystem. .
Experts in different technological fields of industry 4.0 and in digitalisation of Eurecat, together with the companies of the sector, will identify and prioritize projects based on technological requirements, of market and to the specificities and needs of the companies of the Cluster.
At the end of the project, the FOODSERVICE CLUSTER will have a set of initiatives to implement technologies and solutions based on Industry 4.0 adjusted to the needs and specificities of the sector and prioritized. It will be a study for the restaurant sector, which will have identified initiatives of artificial intelligence, facial recognition, cyberphysical systems, the Internet of Things and / or other technologies aimed at better understanding the consumer and their experience and satisfaction, as well as the main indicators of restaurant performance in order to improve services and processes that result in an improvement in the profitability of restaurateurs.
Objectives of the service (qualitative and quantitative).
The aim of this proposal is to identify opportunities and conceptualize projects for the incorporation of Industry 4.0 technologies for the Cluster’s value chain in order to promote the generation of transformation plans and synergies between companies in the ecosystem.
The main objectives of the proposal are:
• Promote digital transformation as a key element in enhancing the value chain.
• Identify, prioritize and conceptualize the main digital transformation projects most convenient for companies in the Cluster.
• Strengthen synergies between value chain companies in order to strengthen the ecosystem and improve the competitiveness of each
With this collective 4.0 diagnosis, a value is added for the CLAB project that justifies the need and opportunity in the value chain of the sector where the project will be carried out by the Cluster.
PHASE 1: DIAGNOSIS
Goal
Analyze, among other things, the current level of digital maturity of companies in the value chain of the sector as well as the sources of data, information and technological tools used. Detect challenges and needs for digitization common to the sector.
Methodology.
Key personnel will be interviewed in 5 companies in the value chain of the cluster, in addition to the cluster manager, who will provide their business vision.
PHASE 2: BENCHMARKING
Goal
Mapping industry 4.0 technologies applied to the sector and successful implementation cases in the restaurant sector or in extrapolable sectors.
Methodology.
There will be a benchmarking of 4.0 technologies and success stories of their application in the restaurant sector.
PHASE 3: CONCEPTUALIZATION
Goal
• Identify digitization initiatives for each of the defined lines of action.
• Define in detail each of the initiatives including objectives, results, resources …
Methodology.
• Identification of technology incorporation initiatives 4.0
• Development and detailed definition of each of the proposed initiatives.
• Presentation of the identified initiatives.
PHASE 4: PRIORITIZATION
Goal
• Select, prioritize and sequence initiatives to have a 4.0 Transformation Plan for the sector.
Methodology.
Joint work sessions with companies in the cluster for the selection and prioritization of the defined initiatives to achieve a 4.0 transformation plan for the sector.
Expected results and project indicators.
